Jupiter Saturn Conjuction

Post by sandconp »

I took an video of the recent Jupiter Saturn Conjunction and processed a final image using Autostakkert 3.

Because the two planets are different gains, Saturn is much harder to see because I did not want to overexpose Jupiter when I took the video. So I created a mask just for Saturn so I can try and brighten it up. Which Star Tools function would I use now that I have the mask created for Saturn?

You can use the Layer module to combine two images. So if you would stretch/process the Saturn image further, you can combine the "Jupiter" image-as-is with that processed "Saturn" image using the mask you just created.
