Yesterday I tried at a certain moment to diminish the stars in IC 1805, so I selected an area with the lasso tool in the nebulae center area. for some strange reason 'isolate' did the opposite and removed stars outside that region. So I inverted the mask , isolate kept removing stars outside the mask . Whatever it tried I did not work, it always kept removing stars outside the mask .
So I went for a walk, came back and opened the file with v 1.6
In this version I did work..
What could be the issue here? Did I overlooked something?
I will investigate this further...
1.7.430 Super structure mask issue ?
Re: 1.7.430 Super structure mask issue ?
Thank you for reporting this. This should now hopefully be fixed in 1.7.434.
Please be aware of the caveats of selective processing like that though; usage of a mask may (will likely) result in non-documentary (selective processing) artifacts that are not representative of the signal as recorded.

Seems indeed it solved the problem.
I like the module , it is really a step forward.
Overall i like the 1.7.X version...
I think ST is really something for me, still got to practice but i am progressing and something descent comes out...
Wipe module is not Always clear to me or i don't know quite sometimes what to do best. My IC1805 stack seems to be a tough one...
