The galaxy is located roughly 27 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici. It has an apparent magnitude of 9.3 and appears as a faint patch of light in small telescopes. The best time to observe M63 is during May.

Hi
Absolutely wonderful. Love it.
I'm inspired. The longest fl we have is a 10" @ 1200mm with a dslr.
What do you reckon?
Cheers

My version is with 2100 mm fl here.
Not as nicely done as emarko’s!

Hi everyone
Had a go at 1200mm but it needs more throwing at it. Can't compete with the sct guys!
