Since moving to latest download version, 1.3 v 206, always crash in noise module,
at level 6/6 scale extraction.
same on different images and two different laptops.
crashes to desktop with windows error.
certainly ver 198 is ok.

Hmmm... so far nothing, even with Valgrind. Sounds eerily similar to a bug that I fixed some versions back. Will keep testing.admin wrote:Eek! Not good... I'm running some tests now... Thanks for reporting this!

Just to close this thread,
I'm afraid the issue was due to user error!
When copying over the latest version , i forgot to copy over the resources file, and was thus using a previous one.
My apologies to Ivo for wasting his time, but great thanks for the customer service
he has displayed in trying to sort the problem
