I have encountered a issue. Having removed stars, I tried binning from full resolution to 35% and found this:

Edit: The same effect happens when I enter "develop" module after removing stars (never when stars are in)

Hi Richard,
In both instances (Bin and Develop) StarTools performs an automatic normalization This is to make sure the full dynamic range is used. E.g it's a simple linear multiplication of brightness values to make sure that the brightest pixel in de image renders as white.
If the purpose is to process stars and detail separately, then this behavior should hopefully be quite helpful to you!
