Every year, my company goes on retreat on some awesome place and some of us, on a voluntary basis, prepares a workshop (2 hours max) to teach colleagues who are interested something about his hobby.
This turn, I decided to show my colleagues how to took pictures at the sky using a "decent" camera and fixed tripod. The editing program of choice has been ... Startools because of its simplicity of use
I prepared a *really* simplified version my procedure of taking astronomical images and process them, with very little explanations so that everything, including taking pictures, won't require more than a couple of hours
My colleagues were really impressed by the result they got! They are not passionate about astrophotography, they simply wanted an easy way to grab memories in case they have a gorgeous sky above them, for example during holidays in an exotic place
Following some of my colleagues advices, I prepared a little guide, barely a walkthrough from taking frames to post processing, so that someone who does not want to spend too much time in this, is able to got to a decent result in a reasonable time
Most of you will find these procedures at least "questionable" but remember I had to keep-it-simple!!
Here they are, a great thank you to Ivo Jager for this awesome software

Unfortunately, the tumblr links are not working. Can you please upload the tutorials to some other place? I've just joined the forum and am highly interested in night sky photography. And yes, this is one of the best software, no question 'bout that.micheleorsini wrote:Following some of my colleagues advices, I prepared a little guide about, barely a walkthrough from taking frames to post processing, so that while phenq GNC deals bulking someone who does not want to spend too much time in this, is able to got [ to a decent result in a reasonable time
