Narrow Band Processing - Hubble Pallette
Narrow Band Processing - Hubble Pallette
Hi! I've been doing some NB imaging using the Hubble Pallette of H-A=Green, O-III=Blue, and S-II = Red. The problem is that H-a is so dominant everything turns out green. I've seen lots of nice looking images supposedly made with the Hubble Pallette by better balancing of channels using Photoshop; was wondering if StarTools has a way to manipulate the RGB channels to get a nicer looking image by toning down the green and amping up the red and blue?
Re: Narrow Band Processing - Hubble Pallette
Apologies for the late reply - I've been traveling a whole lot the past few weeks...
If this is still an issue, I'd be happy to have a look at your data.
The Color module should let you do exactly that using the Gred/Green/Blue bias reduce/increase sliders.
Apologies again and do let me know...
