wipe label doesn't make sense

Hi ,

I think it does make sense.

The tag on that button states the view coming next when you click the button
so in that case shows "Narrowband" and if you click it is what you'll see.
So is not what is showing at present but what will show after the click.

in the same way, When you see the tag "Before" the image you see is the after, but if you click it, that button tag
will change to "After" so you can click and go back to "present" state.

So it is rather a dynamic button instead of having two buttons. (like for instance one with Before and one with After
you'd click the one you want to see the view from, right? : ) )

Mmm

What I see when I click NrwBand is the Luminance image. If I then click it's toggle, Color, I see a colour image.
At no point do I see a narrow band image.

If you do not have an accents file, I would venture 'Luminance - Color' be better labels for said; a 2 toggle rather than a three toggle.

I suppose though that's selfish as I don't do narrowband!

oh I see now.. so you didn't have any file in NBAccent slot in Compose?

then probably you see only Color and Luminance one after the other. the Narrowband toggle is for
when you have uploaded a narrowband image in NBAccent slot in Compose.

Yeah I think this was mentioned in one of the 1.8.xxx threads. Maybe by me.

This button seems to have multiple duties now. I think it used to say Color on one side and Luminance on the other. Now Luminance has been replaced with Narrowband, even though if you don't have a loaded NB set it still functions as a Color-Luminance toggle.

I suppose it could just be renamed somehow, but I have yet to try a NB accent set to see exactly how this button works in such a case.

Who has tried?

Yep!

I believe the little snafus were handled in the various alpha iterations and either noted by Ivo when released or in the change log.
