Shrink Stars?

Hi

I have been trying to process my rendition of M1, and its the first time I have stacked only the light frames, and overall I'm delighted with the way ST allows me to 'process' the data.
One of the issues I have not been able to resolve as yet is one of 'fat' stars. Is there a way to reduce the fats ones and leave the 'normal' stars at the same size? any help would be very much appreciated!
