StarTools Wiki

Post by gustavo_sanchez »

There should be some type of instruction set available for all the tools in StarTools, in addition to the in-module help dialogs. A user manual in document format can get obsolete very quickly, but a StarTools wiki should be easy to maintain, since only the updated functions would be revised in the wiki. That way the changes from version to version can be easily tracked.

Even with the help pop-ups and tutorials, there should be a centralized recipient of all the instructions related to the software, and a wiki is the best alternative.

Agreed!
1.4 should see consolidation of the application and documentation and a wiki sounds like a very good way of accomplishing some of this.
