Splash screen at start up

I apologise for this truly awful request, but is there any way to reduce the length of time the splash screen displays at startup?

On my machine (i7, 16Gb, GeForce GTX 1660 super) it takes approximately 7.5 secs to disappear. Appreciate there are probably things going on in the background, but if it is possible, that would be nice?

at least the splash screen does not monopolise, I use a different piece of software and their splash screen is always on top so can't even go and do something else while the app loads, so I have no issues with StarTools as it's polite.
