I noticed that the .trk files contained in the startools directory always get set to zero when startools exits. Could you invent a "Resume" mode that could be set when the user exits the program. You could use this mode to keep the .trk files and set a flag that, when the program is next run will prompt the user if they wish to resume where they left off.
