I found a few threads that touched on this to some extent but I didn't see one that went the whole way.

It would be really useful to be able to zoom in/out and reposition the image using the mouse rather than using the zoom buttons and scroll bars.

I think most modules would benefit but it would be particularly useful for the initial Autodev screen and for cropping when you are trying to find that elusive artefact.

I totally agree! Something like mouse Wheel to pan up/down, Shift-Wheel to pan side-to-side, and Ctrl-Wheel to zoom would match other software and be a real time-saver.

I'd like to see scroll wheel zoom in/out with hold wheel down to pan, like ACAD
