The application could not start because it could not find resources file or the resource file is write protected . Please make sure it is available in the same folder as the application executable and that the folder and resources file has read/write permission set

Hi,

It sounds like you might be trying to run StarTools straight from the ZIP archive?
Have you extracted the full contents of the ZIP file archive to a location of your choosing? (note: read/write permissions are required - the Program Files folders on Windows do not allow for read/write permissions).
