White dots in Autodev

I've been busy the last year, so no astrophotos for a while. I just pulled StarTools (latest alpha) for some Aurora pics I took in a flight (curious if it can help - I've never processed aurorae before), and came across this AutoDev bug which reminds me of the one with the Decon module that had to do with tracking?
In any case I do an autodev (for the second time, redoing global) after a bin and I have those white pixels come up again. Example detail:
