I would like to understand the difference between Healing and Repair for my stars?

I have used both and they seem to do the same thing.

Repair and Heal do very different things - are you sure you really tried both?

Heal replaces pixels that are set in your mask by "neutral" pixels. Should you have a star mask set, then this would make the stars vanish.

Repair, on the other hand, attempts to repair any stars you have set in a star mask. That is it makes them round again if they are misshapen. It does not remove them completely like the Heal module does.
