Pickerings triangle
I am trying to see what detail in the Veil nebula I have but 10 billion stars are interfering with that. Is there any way to remove them temporarily using Star Tools?

Absolutely.
While star removal is not recommended (due to the introduction of artefacts), the are a number of techniques and modules that can eliminate the distraction of a busy star field.
The two main places to start, are the Super Structure module, and the Shrink module.
