Barnard's "E"

Post by akeru »

Hi all! This is my first black nebula, Barnard's "E":

Image

I need to adjust the green chanel in Photoshop later to reduce it.

I absolutely love the colorfulness of the starfield! I'm so happy to see beautiful renditions like these, instead of renditions where all stars are (erroneously) depicted yellow. Nicely done!

Roberto. It is so nice to see the universe depicted in all its wonderful colour. 12 bit cameras are perfectly adequate for the task. Nicely done.

I find cap green usually does a good job. Sometimes a slight reduction in green component helps. However, the scientific colour module seems to reveal areas of O2. Even with a 1000D. Perhaps I am mistaken, and really its unwanted green noise?
