Hi all

I have managed to do some of my data and some of hubble as well for this target. The resolution difference is astonishing.

This is from the hubble data before the SN.

And this is my data from a few frames I managed while the SN was visible.

Considering some estimates of the total cost of Hubble so far to be in the $6 to $8 billion range, those of us with substantially more modest investments are doing prettttty goood!! :D

Yup, it's positively amazing what us amateurs can do these days! Sure, Hubble still kicks our butts, however we're slowly but surely inching closer to being able to obtain Hubble-like data from the surface of the earth (but only in the visual spectrum due to that pesky atmosphere).
