Winter brings long stretches between clear nights here in the Seattle area. I've been waiting patiently to try out my new AT65EDQ and was rewarded in late January with a clear weekend.

I got the M82 supernova in this image with my C8.

And again in a wider shot with my AT65

The M45 image had a gradient I couldn't quite eliminate but I am otherwise happy with it.

Looking good Gary! I remember you said you wanted to get M45 this season and you did!
Did you use an LP filter at all for these images?

I don't use filters. Wipe usually takes care of all my gradient problems since I wised up and starting using flats. For some reason, this one was really stubborn.

I was actually asking because I thought the color balance for the galaxies was a tiny bit slanted towards yellow (a common problem with LP filters). :)
