M106 in RGB

Post by fmeireso »

Long time since i posted a picture here. This is done almost completely in Startools. I just used BlurX in a lineair stage to correct the stars and some deconv.
The stack had terrible gradients, which i still do not know where those come from...I had alot of trouble even stacking it, many subs were rejected by the PI stacking program in my normal settings. I had to play with the noise setting in registration part to get more subs in...very weird

Anyhow, taken in an RC8 (which has now lost collimation for some reason), about 4 hours of integration, no filters, over 3 evenings. I have a rather white version too, made in PI but i could not get the beautifull colors Startools produced...
Processing, well, still not easy to do....
