Lovely - a good M82 shows the gaseous outflows from both poles, and they are readily visible here.
Was this with the L-Pro in place?

Thank you very much .... Optolong L-Pro filter was it, yes. It would be good to add exposures with a narrowband filter.

The coloring is remarkably intact still, even with the filter in place. Very nice.
Some Ha would indeed really make this object shine!

Beautiful result, nicely done! I do have a question Ivo or others may answer as I notice the stars here exhibit the same "blue hat" color on the top left of center I get on my broadband images and curious if this is due to the L-Pro (I use it extensively as well), heavy light pollution (I am in Bortle 8) or other variance / optical reason?

Thank you very much, I think the stars are like that because of the optical geometry of my ordinary SCT. When I looked & compare on Astrobin between ordinary sct and edgehd sct, it seems to me that the stars at edgehd are more corrected while using the L pro filter.
