I'm telling you, if you saw the condition of the source material, you'd wonder how I got anything at all. Heres how:
1. Patience
2. Persistence
3. Startools
I love this program. Photoshop for Astrophotographers.
Image Date: 12-12-2021
Tucson, AZ. Urban skies with clouds that moved in during the session
Orion Starshoot Autoguider
Orion Atlas mount
Orion 50mm guide scope with Orion Starshoot G4 OSC camera. Yep, I used the guide scope to capture this. Only way I could fit everything in one frame without having to do a 3 x 3 mosaic at prime focus.
90 x 30s light frames
No dark, bias, or flats.
Debayering and stacking in Firswork4. Color correction as well due to prior attempts in Startools not coming out right.
All additional processing in Startools.
