Hi everyone,
the Iris Nebula has intrigued me since I first saw it. The center with the reflection nebula and the amazing dust clouds around just make a great scene. After having tried imaging it in 2019 with an unguided setup:
I revisited the target in order to get more of the dust. Processing was a bit annoying since there was a kind of reflection in the subs or light sneaked in from LEDs from a USB hub or something. Couldn't get rid of it completely - thanks to @Carles for helping with this. Anyway, what I came up with is this:
See here for details: https://www.astrobin.com/mpp84j/F/
I will return to this target in another year for sure to produce data of better quality but for now let's go for brighter targets
Clear skies!
