So inspired by Ivo's video of Hubble's M16 - thought I'd give it a try. Sorry, the log file is buried very deep and is difficult for me access. Processing steps are very similar to Ivo's. I couldn't make the 2 large offending stars acceptable so I removed them To add a bit more detail, I used Darktable to increase some local contrast in the shadows - but 99% was done in StarTools 1.5.

Vey nice! I actually personally like your more understated colors over my and NASA's rendition (which I was trying to emulate). Well done!
