m42

My own data finally...So this is a very modest rendition of m42 considering it was taken near the horizon from my backyard in the middle of the city. I'm just happy that I was able to get some sort of story (Adam Block:) considering my conditions.
Unfortunately I shot only 4 frames of 4 minutes before my trees started to envelope the target. I'm always amazed how bright m42 really is. My goal was to show as much nebulocity as possible beyond the obvious brightness of the nebula. The overall effect is best seen without zooming in to close (please dont..)
ISO 400, 70-300mm zoom at 300 (Tamron VC) at F/7.1. thanks for looking.
