I often use 'filler' time to get a couple of hours on a target that I'm not sure about, just to get a sense for whether I want to devote more time to it or not.
In the end, though, last night I popped the AlpT duoband filter back in and imaged the CN challenge target (CED-214) for a few hours and then more narrowband time on the Flaming Star once it rose high enough at 2am.
As for the Embryo - maybe better to wait a couple of years (hoping to move farther from the city lights around that time frame).
