Startools is a great piece of software. The learning curve is gradual enough to keep you inspired but high enough that you always have something new to learn to take your skills to the next level.
11 photos calibrated using DARKs, BIAS, FLATs and DARKFLATs (I'm still a little old-school). Each photo was a 4 minute exposure at ISO800 taken with my 80mm refractor, 0.85 reducer and my Ha modified Nikon D5300. Stacked using Deep Sky Stacker.

Peter, This is a nice photo. I did the Pleiades in early January. What I like about Startools is the preservation of colors. Looking at your photo and looking at mine, I see some amazing similarities, (as it should) specifically with the star colors.
