North American and Pelican - 6 Panel Mosaic in SHO

Post by Hondo »

Greetings. This was a project from the summer of 2017. Each panel is 5 hours of data and all 6 panels were stitched together with Microsoft ICE and processed with Star Tools. Thanks for looking.

Stunning Image.

Could you outline the process you used for getting the SHO colours, I've been trying to attempt it for months and really struggling?

Thanks

Thanks all. To get the SHO palette I used Photoshop CS2 after I was finished processing the image in Star Tools. I used the first link below to do the work in Star Tools and the second one for Photoshop.

Yes, wonderful work!! Love the wide field view. May I ask, what was your workflow to select colours for hubble pallete? Thanks!
