One of my friend mentioned black level look clipped, can anyone tell me how to ensure which step in the process might remove it?

That technical question is for Ivo. AFAIK you can only forece clipping with some manual settings in Developement or Layer modules.
Probably your problem relates to Wipe. For me is one of the most sensitive steps and a difficult one to keep under control.

Would you be able to post your workflow? One can argue whether the blacks are really clipped, given that the lowest level (0) is almost just as high as the next level up (1) - the small discrepancy can be attributed to dead pixels and artifacts.
