Stacking additional exposures in DSS actual made image worse

The night before last I took two hours of SH2-101 with my Atik 420c and hyperstar. However, the resulting image was very dim. http://www.astrobin.com/111145/

So last night I tried to add 2 more hours of exposure time. The resultant DSS stack is actually noisier than the first version with only two hours. I took 20 flats and 20 darks at the correct temperature. See actual stacks below.
