i"f you think about using Ha as L I recommend to extract L from OSC and add Ha to it. Next you split OSC into channels and add the Ha to R and a bit to B, and do LRGB combination with this. In any case you need way more Ha. I often take 2h OSC and some 5-10h Ha. It depends on how strong the Ha is."
Reading the above , how is this achieved in Startools? I mean split OSC in channels, that i believe i understand, eg load the stack in Red channel and save it then.
But add Ha to R and then to B, how can this be done?

You can split channels from a OSC file by using the compose module one channel at a time and save, repeat for the other channels.

Hi,
you can find that information in the "unnoficial English manual " for 1.7 by Jochen, (available in English and German, Spanish in the process...but almost done)
https://download.startools.org/StarTool ... 20V1_7.pdf
From index, >> Special techniques >>> Adding Ha to RGB datasets <---- there's two methonds explained
very useful manual, have a look ^^
Carles.
