Dark Line from CCD Camera

Post by sandconp »

I have a dark line across my image only when I use a CCD camera. Is there an easy way to fix this in Star Tools?

I guess this is a known problem when using CCD Cameras.

Hi,

The new (as of 1.7) Wipe module can remove such lines.
Set "Synthetic Dark/Bias" to "Defective Sensor Rows", and that should take care of it during the Wipe stage.

Ivo,

Thanks that's great news since I am using Star Tools 1.7

I was able to get rid of the streak by setting a mask and then using 'heal' to get rid of it.

By the way, I love the improvements you made on ST 1.7.
