Hello together,
one week ago i tried to capture M45 with my little E-PL7
How could i handle with the halos around the big stars? They look so stairs like, don´t no really how to describe it another way. On smaller stars on the underside it´s blue and at the upper side the halo is orange/red.
Could it be i made some mistake in precessing in startools, or this is because of bad data?
Very much thanks in advance.
Christian

Re: M45 Halos
Hi Christian,
What lens did you use to acquire this data? Would you have a processing log (in the StarTools.log file) to show us how you processed this?
Thanks!
Ivo

Re: M45 Halos
Hi Ivo,
yes i must look when i´m at home, i processed this image several times, because i like it
I made this picture with an TS 65Q Quadruplet APO and an astromodified Olympus E-PL7, think around 4-5 hours with each exposure 8 minutes.
bye
