Has ST development stopped?
Hi! I am a fan of StarTools, and use it frequently, even after purchasing another, more expensive software. However, after getting used to almost continuous updates, last ST version was available several months ago. Is there a big update coming, or has ST development stopped?

Re: From simple to use to too complex? My opinion
Ivo, I would like to thank you for your response. You, as a developer, offer this type of assistance that is uncommon in this field. And even with my current opinion, I look forward to continue to use StarTools as my main processing software. You are in a unique position from a price perspective, of...

StarTools Wiki
There should be some type of instruction set available for all the tools in StarTools, in addition to the in-module help dialogs. A user manual in document format can get obsolete very quickly, but a StarTools wiki should be easy to maintain, since only the updated functions would be revised in the ...

From simple to use to too complex? My opinion
Hello, I have been a regular user of StarTools for some time now. Each time, I have seen it grow successfully, adding functionality to necessary tasks. However, in the most recent updates, I have seen so many changes, such the latest changes to the De-noise module and the Color module, that are "blo...

Re: Auto Star Mask not working in Sharp Module
Hello Ivo,
This has happened to me about 3 times, on the same session or after quitting the app and starting over. Settings are the defaults, I have not tweaked any in Sharp Module, at least not before the masking.
I will try to do the checks you requested.

Auto Star Mask not working in Sharp Module
Well, the post title says it all. When I try to create a star mask in this module, the progress bar just hangs in there, without doing anything. I have to cancel and get out of the module, create the star mask from the main menu, and then get back into the Sharp module again for it to work. ST 1.3.3...

Re: New Color Module woes
Ok, I had a look at the individual frames as well. They definitely contain color data. It appears something went wrong during the stacking stage resulting in a black & white image! Hello, I have seen that before. :? The stack was generated using Nebulosity and definitely has color information, sinc...
