I've tried the other things you'd mentioned but I've never tried using flats yet.
I'll need to figure that out and try it with my next shoot.

Trying to find out what I'm doing wrong
Did an initial autodev and keep. This is the result: Capture3.JPG Looks like a great deal of vignette but the corners are redish. Not black. Then I cropped it. Then I went to wipe.
