Add time/date tag in log file
I often went back to check what parameters I use in previous processing. Many times I process one project on different machine. It will be greatly helpful if the file open/save date & time can also be logged in the log file.
Please consider such feature.
Thanks!!

Re: Digital Development with mask option?
Thanks for the reply. The ST's support is top notch. I have never seen any online forum support with such excellent diligence. Seriously! Sorry to hear your wrist injury and be easy on it. We need your smart brain and good hand to keep pushing ST to the new level. Skyglow is what I would ...

Re: Digital Development with mask option?
Ivo: Thanks for the advice. I will try it out and see if I like it. Another related question: I absolutely love the clean background ST gave me. Often people comments on the "black point" (I guess the minimum of the histogram) has been cut too high so it looks a little bit "cutting too hard". I wond...

Digital Development with mask option?
Recently I imaged Jellyfish nebula and B33, both has bright stars nearby. Some people suggest masking out bright stars during histogram stretching. Since ST does not literally have stretching tool, I wonder if it is possible to has mask option in the Digital Development Module? And will that option ...

Re: Question about Bayered or not Bayered
What if a SkyGlow filter (LP filter) was used and the image usually has strong green cast? My Orion StarShoot Pro v2 has the same chip as QHY8. And I always use the SkyGlow filter. When I start ST, I always choose the linear, bayered, and not white balanced option. Will the green cast from SkyGlow f...

Re: Arrest/masking specific color/size features
Yes, maybe using sample from a selected region (mouse drag) to define the color component.

Re: Arrest/masking specific color/size features
I did not use Photoshop much before. Recently I went through some tutorial about masking. And quickly one can realize the power of advanced mask. It seems to me ST has been great in providing similar capability and I was using it before even realized it. :) It also seems to me additional mask capabi...

Re: Arrest/masking specific color/size features
Ivo: I have never used the FILTER module successfully. I imagine using it to auto mask out features for later HEAL module (but it was not intended for that purpose in the current version). That was the reason why I propose such feature with the addition of size (or even morphology) information for a...
