Re: Hubble Space Telescope IC 434 repro
Awesome rendition Ivo! Is there a link to the linear data so we can have a go at it ourselves? It should be fun to process this one. Thanks,
E.

Re: Leo Triplet
That's a very nice one Gordon  I agree the new colour module is great. A suggestion for Ivo: the site has this awesome video showing the processing of Misti's L-data for M101. How about having a new video for the whole LRGB data? (for example using Misti's M63 data which seems to me a bit ...

The new colour module: M51
Hi, I've been trying the new colour module and it's great and very easy to use. Attached is my first attempt at M51. It's stack of 24x10m exposures with a modded Canon 1100D at iso 1600. The tube that I used is the 200mm f6 from my dobsonian mounted on a heq5 (guided with PhD via the finder), coma w...

Re: Improving background and star colour
Thanks Ivo! That's very useful indeed. Your version has quite a bit more color and detail than mine. It's difficult to keep the noise down with a DSLR and long exposures. As for the vignetting, well... large sensor and most likely my technique with flats is far from optimal... The new color module i...

Hi Ivo,
no worries! There's no rush at all for this. I'll try the latest version with the improved color module.
Thanks,
best

Improving background and star colour
Hi Ivo, I've been trying to process the attached image with StarTools, but I'm not completely happy with the result, or perhaps I should say that I'm not convinced I've made the most of the data. The details are: -Megrez 72 @4.8 with WO flattener 6, Canon 1100D mod and Hutech LP filter -Exposure: 40...

Re: StarTools for lunar imaging
Hi Steve,
thanks for the suggestion. I just tried astrovideo in demo mode and it doesn't seem to pick up the Costar, probably an issue with drivers. The software seems
to be directed towards video cameras and webcams. Of course it could be just me being inoperative...

Hi Ivo,
it's a MacBook air, for some reason for values of the radius over 5 pixels the Decon module seems to run forever,
