License Issue
I got a new computer in December with Windows 10, installed StarTools, and copied my license from my old computer. Unfortunately I can't seem to get StarTools to recognize my license file and it thinks it is still in demo mode.
Any ideas?

Re: NGC6559 & Friends
Thanks after reviewing some other nebula images, namely by StarKeeper.IT I completely agree on the pink color and that D is the best. I would love to know why I loose some of the wispiness on the NGC6559 reflection nebula.

Re: NGC6559 & Friends
Ok I have made a set of comparison images from my recent NGC6559 data. NBRGBCombination - Ok stars and nice red color. Dark nebulas are hard to spot. http://www.astrobin.com/194889/B/ SHO-AIP method suggested in this thread - Better contrast on dark nebula. Still nice red color. Crazy looking stars....

New Reveal Module - Lots of Pixelation
Just a quick note. The new reveal module is causing me a lot more pixilation than the previous version.

NGC6559 & Friends
I used the synthetic luminance technique and then really increased saturation. It still doesn't look "red" enough and the RGB image has a really strong reflection nebula around NGC6559 that is getting lost as well (although it disappears completely when using just ha)

Re: Synthetic Luminance
You end up loosing traces of blue reflection nebula and areas where ha isn't very intense from the image. Synthetic Luminance gives you a balance of both.

Re: Really Tough Target Sh-2-72, Sh-2-71, NGC6749
I had not included the registered HA file in the original zip file. You can download that here. http://1drv.ms/1V848uu I used the LRVB script last night to combine the synth lum and the RGB files I processed in PixInsight. Here is the result which is not bad but the contrast between the yellow in th...

Re: Really Tough Target Sh-2-72, Sh-2-71, NGC6749
I'm sorry I forgot to give the crop numbers to align the ha to rgb or I accidentally didn't attach the registered ha file. I will check when I'm on my computer. I definitely took flats. The challenge is the light pollution I'm shooting from. I'm in a red/white zone. I do use a idas lpf. Edit: any id...

Re: Wipe and very faint backgroud gradients
Interesting. Personally I have been finding that startools actually does a much better on background removal than pixinsight, especially in 1.4.
