Hi Alex, The issue has to be to do with the way that OptiDev stretches the brightness around those mid-to-bright stars. That may be true. Have you tried playing with the brightness tranche bit-depth, as Ivo suggested? Sometimes it shows a noticeable impact, at least for the highlights. Another idea...
